In a ‘Climb of the Century’, British climbers Sandy Allan and Rick Allen (both in their late 50s), reached the summit of Nanga Parbat (8126 meters) on July 15th, 2012 — making the coveted first ascent of the Mazeno Ridge in an 18-day traverse.
