Net revenue from conference operations, event ticket sales, and  on-campus dining directly supports our professional and creative development programs, which annually give thousands of artists, leaders, and thinkers the support they need. Our commitment to sharing this work with the world means you can enjoy year-round public events, such as performances, film screenings, readings, dance recitals, and art exhibitions.

Hotel Association Green Key Eco-Rating Program

Since 2009, Banff Centre has been awarded 4 Green Keys from the Green Key Global eco-rating program.  This certification is based on the results of a comprehensive environmental audit, where participating properties are awarded a 1 to 5 Green Key rating. Audubon Green Leaf Eco-Rating Program

Banff Centre is a Green Leaf™ Eco-Rated Member, with 4 Green Leaf status. This rating confirms that the Centre is taking substantial steps towards environmental improvement by adopting industry best practices for energy efficiency, resource conservation, and pollution prevention in all areas of its operations and management.

Green Star

Banff Centre takes pride in holding Gold Tier status within IACC's Green Star Program which is in support of the Association's environment policy and code of sustainability.  This Code includes 60 tenets within the areas of education, awareness and public declaration, waste management, recycling, reuse, water conservation, purchasing, energy management, air quality and food & beverage.  As an IACC member, Banff Centre supports this Code and upon annual review, has achieved 85% of the tenets to be awarded Gold Tier status.
