In honour of the Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival’s 50th Anniversary, we’re launching 50K for 50 Years, running from November 1 - 23, 2025, raising $50,000 for 50 years of mountain culture. All gifts received will go towards Banff Centre’s Artist Fund, in support of vital programs and scholarships for artists.

By supporting this campaign, you’re investing in the future of art and helping open doors for artists whose work will inspire and shape our world for years to come.

All gifts over $20 are eligible for a charitable tax receipt.

We recognize, with deep respect and gratitude, our home on the side of Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain. In the spirit of respect and truth, we honour and acknowledge the Banff area, known as “Minihrpa” (translated in Stoney Nakoda as “the waterfalls”) and the Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Îyârhe Nakoda (Stoney Nakoda) – comprised of the Bearspaw, Chiniki, and Goodstoney Nations – as well as the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy comprised of the Siksika, Piikani, and Kainai.
