About CLVB '33

Q: What is CLVB '33?

A: Banff Centre's intimate venue featuring live music, comedy, DJs, karaoke, cabaret, and special events every Thursday through Saturday during the duration of the Banff Centre Summer Arts Festival. Subscribe to our mailing list to hear more about year-round CLVB ’33 events.

Q: Where is it?

A: CLVB '33 is located on Banff Centre campus, just a short walk from downtown Banff on Sacred Buffalo Guardian Mountain. You can find CLVB ’33 on the lower level of the theatre complex, with the entrance just beside the lower level of our parkade, near the theatre loading dock. See Maps & Directions

Q: Do I need tickets?

A: Some events are free, while others have a cover charge at the door. Each event listing will indicate whether an event is free or paid

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

A: Often for CLVB ’33 events, no tickets are sold in advance. Many are free to attend and do not require pre-registration—just arrive when doors open and grab your seat!
If a cover charge is required, that will also be taken at the door upon arrival.

Some events at CLVB ’33 require tickets in advance. Please check the event listing, which will indicate if an event is ticketed or not. If it is ticketed, an event may sell out in advance, so buying your ticket early is advised to avoid disappointment

Q: Are there food and drinks at CLVB ’33?

A: Yes! Enjoy drinks and light bites while you take in the show.

Q: What time should I arrive?

A: Plan to arrive 20–30 minutes early to grab a drink, find a seat, and settle in before the performance begins.

Q: Is it all- ages?

A: Some events may require an 18+ age requirement, while others (like our Literary Cabarets) are all ages. Please see the individual event page for details.
