Since starring in My Last Day of Summer (2020 Creative Excellence Award winner), 15 year old US mountain biker Julia Lofqvist Traum aka “Shredulia”  has been focused on becoming a better downhill rider and racer with her team Sweetlines Elite Racing.

She won second place in the 15-16 year junior expert category at the 2021 Downhill National Championships in Colorado this summer and has also been working on some video projects with her fellow teammates to capture the essence of their races. “It’s hard to describe the madness and chaos of a race weekend with four teenage girls but I must say our videos do a pretty good job!”

Lofqvist Traum will be heading into her sophomore year of high school this year – something she’s not particularly looking forward to – but she can’t wait to work again with My Last Day of Summer Director Kristina Wayte on an upcoming film project, “I can’t say too much about it, but it involves me riding as fast as I can in the dark with a headlamp!”

Keep spreading the love of shred Julia!
