Live: We're bringing films and stories of adventure and exploration from around the world to our newly renovated Jenny Belzberg Theatre at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity in Banff, Alberta. The return to live for the 2021 Festival will consist of a limited number of select in-person events, in reduced-capacity settings, and will also feature events and screenings at Lux Cinema Banff, The Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, artsPlace Canmore and other venues in downtown Banff.
Virtual: With the overwhelming popularity of the Virtual Festival in 2020, we're also bringing back Virtual Festival films to the comfort of your home for more epic adventures indoors!
September 29: Schedule announced for Live events and Virtual screenings
October 5: In-Person Tickets ($25-$35) and Virtual Passes ($125 Early Bird) on Sale at 12 pm (MDT).
October 8: "How To Festival" Free Webinar with Festival Director, Joanna Croston at 12:30 pm (MDT). Details will be posted on our website.
October 15: End of the Early Bird Virtual Festival Pass price. (Full price $150 CAD)
October 30: Individual Virtual Festival film program rentals begin.
November 2: Last day for Virtual Festival Pass purchases.
October 30-November 7: Festival in Banff, Alberta! Live and Virtual screenings.
