Featuring an evening performance by comedian/magician Wes Barker on February 17 (Ages14+) and Matinee on Feb 18 (Family-friendly)

NEW for 2019, we have moved to a family day Festival in February. The provincial holiday marks a day off work, and a perfect way for families to enjoy the holiday while creating memorable experiences in arts and culture.  

The Family Winter Arts Festival is where the young and young-at-heart can journey into a world of art and imagination with live shows and free and low-cost activities.

The Festival features performances including comedian/magician Wes Barker, singer/songwriter Norman Foote,  and more!

Plus many FREE activities on FEBRUARY 18 including:

  • Family Film Screenings: Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival

  • Songwriting Workshop with Norman Foote
    (Feb 18 at 9am, 11am, 1pm - and includes a ticket to the 4pm performance!)
    *Register in Advance

  • Parks Canada Presents: A Beary, Berry Good Day, Puppet Show, bear facts, and "How to Draw" Grizzly Bear with artists from Parks Canada

  • Drawn to Nature: choose from Kid's or Teen's art/drawing class!
    *Register in Advance

  • FREE public swim (Feb. 18, 1 - 5 p.m.)

  • and more! 

    *Register in advance for the Songwriting Workshops (space is limited) and Drawn to Nature Kid's and Teen's classes
