Live at CLVB '33: The End of the World Cabaret

Onalea and Special Guests

Performer in a striking vintage-inspired orange outfit poses beside an outdoor piano, creating a theatrical scene against a dramatic prairie landscape.

Step into the smoky allure of Weimar-era Berlin, the romance of Parisian salons, and the intimacy of New York’s underground clubs.

Internationally acclaimed performer ONALEA returns to The Banff Centre with a haunting theatrical concert where cabaret, storytelling, and cinematic song collide. With lush arrangements by Emmy Award–winning composer Dave Pierce (Michael Bublé, Ariana Grande), performed live by a quartet of world-class musicians, she delivers an elegant, intimate evening where tenderness and apocalypse intertwine.

Known for her mesmerizing performance as Hecate in New York City’s Sleep No More and her celebrated cabarets at the McKittrick Hotel’s Manderley Bar, ONALEA crafts musical experiences that transcend time and genre. Her voice—evoking greats such as Peggy Lee, Judy
Garland, and Amy Winehouse—anchors a distinctive fusion of jazz, swing, and pop.

Her original works, including Blanche and Requiem for a Lost Girl, have premiered in New York and toured internationally. Mata Hari in 8 Bullets (co-created with the late David Rhymer, with lyrics by Blake Brooker) played to sold-out audiences in New York and Edinburgh.

One night only—where Cabaret meets The End Of The World.

Bring a small item for The End of the World Time Capsule which fits in the palm of your hand—and dress in your finest apocalyptic chic.
