October 30 – November 7
The 2021 Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival runs from October 30 - November 7.
Featuring 30 live events including film screenings and special guest speakers, authors, and adventurers sharing their stories. Festival venues include the new Jenny Belzberg Theatre at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, Lux Cinema Banff, and artsPlace in Canmore.
This year’s live Festival will be scaled down in comparison to past festivals, but we are excited to host a safe event.
Banff Centre has opted into the Restrictions Exemption Program, so proof of full vaccination, a negative PCR or rapid test result taken within 72 hours of arrival, or original proof of medical exemption will be required to attend all live events at Banff Centre. Masks are also mandatory for all public indoor spaces. Please note that measures and restrictions may change at any time; find the most current and complete information here: banffcentre.ca/covid-19-measures.

A Special Thanks: We’re super excited to host a live event even in this modified format. We’re doing our best to plan for an inspiring and fulfilling event and we’re grateful that you’ll be part of it. Thanks so much for supporting the festival and for your continued patience.
